If a violation is found, X may retain audio copies for up to 120 days in total. Unless you delete your recording, it will remain available for replay after the live Space has ended.* As with live Spaces, X will retain audio copies for 30 after they end to review for violations of the X Rules. You can always end a recording to make it no longer publicly available on X by deleting your recording via the more icon on the recording itself. If you choose to record your Space, once the live Space ends, your recording will be immediately and publicly available for anyone to listen to whenever they want. This allows you to cut out any dead air time that might occur at the beginning of a Space. Under host settings, you will have the option to choose where to start your recording with Edit start time. Under Notifications, you can also View details to post the recording. Once the Space ends, you will see how many people attended the Space along with a link to share out via a post. While recording, a recording symbol will appear at the top to indicate that the Space is being recorded by the host. When creating a Space, toggle on Record Space. Wait a few minutes for your device to reboot.Hosts can record Spaces they create for replay.Scroll down and tap Reboot This Device.If you Ring device is connected to wifi, you can attempt to reboot it. Make sure Audio Streaming and Recording is enabled.You may have your audio settings turned off for privacy reasons. If you have a Ring Protect subscription, you can view the recording to see what the audio sounds like.Check to make sure the microphone icon is enabled. ![]() Open Live View in the Ring app and see if your Ring device's microphone is enabled. Try moving your wifi router closer to your Ring device. If your Signal Strength (RSSI) is amber or red, your Ring device likely has a poor connection to your location's wifi.
